Over the last three decades, founder of {M}, Michel Bouquier, has built a matchless reputation for promoting luxury lifestyle around the world. His talent for advising and connecting opinion leaders is based on his unique experience in developing innovative solutions for luxury destinations and brands.
Michel was President of the Monaco Tourism Board for nine years. During his tenure he launched many initiatives to promote Monaco as the destination of choice to Ultra High Net Worth Individuals around the globe.
This role followed nearly a decade in the luxury hotel industry at the Forte Heritage Hotels Group in the UK and the Relais & Châteaux world-wide Association.
Michel enjoys a long-standing reputation in Switzerland and in the USA where he headed the French Government Tourism Board in New York.
He graduated from Lyon II University and obtained a Master’s degree and a postgraduate degree in Human Sciences.
Michel has been honored by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco as an Officer in the prestigious Saint Charles Order. He is also a Knight in the National of Merit Order of the French Republic.
